Our Mission: To provide healthy, safe, and sustainable affordable housing for the citizens of the town of Homer, Louisiana.
What We Do
The Homer Housing Authority provides public housing for eligible low-income families, persons with disabilities, and the elderly. Homer Housing Authority administers 100 Public Housing Units and does not offer HCV (Housing Choice Vouchers), previously Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. Homer Housing Authority was established in 1960, and is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners.
Homer Housing Authority has one Public Housing community with 100 units from 1 to 3 bedrooms. Housing consists of 40 units for the elderly and 60 units for other residents.
